Cold cast sculptures are created by the artist in studio, and each
item is cast and carefully detailed for perfection. While the
sculpture is an exact replica of the original wood carving, the hand
detailed painting ensures that each piece is unique. The river
rocks for the pedestal base displays are also cast and hand painted
in studio. Each trout is painted with the same multiple layers
used on the wood carvings, giving each fish the depth and richness
that Eric's carvings are known for. Due to the time saved with
casting, we are able to offer these incredible sculptures for a much
lower cost than is possible with original wood carvings.
