Here is a view of our inspiration for creating fish carvings and sculptures.
We enjoy fishing all over Alaska, but you will likely find Eric deeply involved
in 'research' with a fly rod on the Kenai River, or one of the Susitna valley
streams, such as Willow or Montana creeks. Southcentral Alaska is a
horseshoe of mountains from the Alaska range to Talkeetna range, the Chugach
mountains and the Kenai mountains and Harding ice cap. The rivers and
lakes that spill from these towards Cook Inlet and the Pacific are prime habitat
for all 5 species of Pacific salmon: Chinook (king), Coho (silver), Sockeye
(red), Chum (dog) and Pink (often called Humpies) as well as native rainbow
trout, dolly varden / arctic char, arctic grayling and wild steelhead.
If
you are considering coming to Alaska to wet a line, send us a note
and we'd be happy to pass along helpful information about when and
where.
